“Nearly 10 years ago friends advised to talk to Chris Clark to help us develop our ideas for a ‘sunroom’ extension to our house. The nice thing about Chris is that he is a good listener. He managed to implement our own wishes and ideas into a clever professional design. The new room looks like it has always been there. In the summer of 2019, we decided to extend our terrace and explore the possibility to have a roof over it. Chris drew a wooden structure with a glass roof. It was finished just before lockdown in 2020 – it felt like another cosy room to the house and still does. The glass roof makes us start summer earlier and makes it last longer too. The latest project is the most challenging. With planning permission to extend the garage type building on our drive, we were looking to create an eco-friendly tiny house for four people. Chris did an ingenious job: the internal 70 m2 feels spacious and luxurious. The house is filled with light, integrates perfectly with the surroundings and makes most of the views.”
